LOMOS ("we", "us") is a digital agency based in Colombo, Sri Lanka. This policy explains what we collect when you use lomos.online, why, and the choices you have.
Information you give us
- Enquiry, quote and waitlist forms — name, email, phone/WhatsApp, company, budget, timeline and the project details you choose to share.
- Newsletter — your email address.
- Free resources — name, email and company for gated downloads.
- Orion AI chat — the messages you send. If you share an email in the chat, the conversation is saved so our team can follow up.
- Orion AI Website Audit — the website address you submit and, if provided, your name and email. The audit only reads publicly available pages.
- WhatsApp — when you tap a WhatsApp button we note the page and topic. Your conversation itself happens in WhatsApp under Meta's policies.
Information collected automatically
With your consent we record anonymous usage data: pages viewed, device and browser type, approximate country/city derived from the request (we do not store IP addresses), the referring website and campaign tags. We use this only to improve the site and understand which channels bring enquiries.
Cookies and local storage
- Essential — remember your cookie choice, theme accent and admin sign-in. These cannot be switched off.
- Analytics (optional) — an anonymous visitor and session ID used for the statistics above. Only set after you click "Accept analytics".
We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
How we use information
To reply to enquiries, prepare proposals, deliver contracted work, send updates you asked for, and improve our website. We do not sell or rent personal data.
Service providers
We rely on a small number of providers to run the site: secure cloud hosting and database storage, an AI model provider that processes Orion and audit requests, and WhatsApp (Meta) when you choose to message us there. They process data only to provide their service to us.
Retention
Enquiries that don't become projects are deleted after 12 months. Client records are kept for as long as the law requires. Analytics data is kept in aggregate form.
Security
Data is encrypted in transit, stored with access controls so only authorised LOMOS staff can view it, and download links are time-limited.
Your rights
You can ask us to access, correct or delete your personal data, or to stop contacting you, at any time. Sri Lanka's Personal Data Protection Act No. 9 of 2022 and, where applicable, the GDPR give you these rights.
